My practice began with Arabic calligraphy and geometry from reflecting on the Arabic root word system while reading the Qur’an.

These designs were then translated into other mediums such as metal, and ink printing.

Metal has undeniable presence, resilience and might. Its characteristics mimic the strength of our spirit when we recognize, and fight to protect it. My passion is to materialize unseen inner convictions and truths into the physical world. God willing.

As far back as I can remember, my focus has always been on Ruh Al Muharib (The Warrior Spirit). Creating these designs enables me to have physical reflections of my internal world and evoke these strengths in others as well.
